Biograpy

Ariel Diaz Garcia was born in Habana, Cuba in 1963. He attended studies at San Alejandro Art Academy 1995-1999, with focus on painting and mural. The following years was spent developing and attending a number of art-projects in Havana, including the local project "Ismaeilillo" which focused on teaching art to the children of Havana.

Ariels most recognized mural is a 160-feet wall at Museo de la Revolucion in Habana.

During many years Ariel Diaz Garcias have used a highly estetical, but for some peovocating way of showing his art in the streets of Habana. Body painting in public.

Ariel Diaz Garcia was given The Great Art Award in Havana, in 1999.
He has held several personal exhibitions along with many collective exhibitions, a lot of them outside Cuba.

His work is represented with collectors in Japan, Canada, France, USA, Holland, Germany, Austia, Spain and Sweden where he is now situated.
